DUES: $175 for corporation FEES: Monthly diner meetings are $13 for members and $15 for non-member. Any manufacturing company or company which provides services to the manufacturing sector can join. The purpose of SVMA is to promote the interest and support the growth of area manufacturers through an open exchange of ideas and access to educational and financial support to meet world wide competition. Members have opportunities for peer group interaction and participation in training events. SVMA serves as an advocate for the local manufacturing community. Bay Metro bus stops at SVSU. Handicapped accessible. "Manufacturers' Line" published monthly.

MEETINGS: Third Thursday at SVSU for dinner, from September through June.

Serves the Saginaw Valley area; Bay, Midland and Saginaw Counties. Provides both qualified speakers on current issues and time for peer interaction at meetings. Acts as a clearinghouse of training programs offered by other organizations. Provides implementation and informational support to the regional Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) at Saginaw Valley State University, called the Center for Manufacturer's Improvement. Offers a monthly newsletter (September - June) called the Manufacturer's Line.
